  • Counselling Connect is a UK-wide service, developed by an experienced counsellor, that helps people find the right fit for their counselling needs.

    By understanding your hopes and expectations, Counselling Connect will help you streamline the process, guiding you through therapy language, counselling directories and therapist websites.

    The optional therapist matching service offers a bespoke recommendation, using professional insight, experience and personal networks to find the best possible fit, from trusted and reliable options.

    The aim is to help free up your time and energy so you can focus on what really matters, and move forward on your counselling journey with confidence and ease.

  • The Therapy Guidance Call costs £30, and lasts for 30 minutes.

    The optional personal matching and therapist recommendations is an additional £50.

    These are one-off fees. There are no subscription charges and no additional costs.

    Whatever payment agreement you make with a therapist recommended by Counselling Connect is between you and them.

  • I will ask you some questions to get a sense of what you’re looking for and of course, if you have questions you can ask them.

    There will be absolutely no judgement, just a safe space to explore your needs, refine your search and give you the confidence and clarity to navigate the process of finding a therapist.

  • By listening to what you’re looking for.

    I will use my years of experience as a counsellor and my personal connections to make suggestions for who may be a suitable fit.

  • I will recommend 2-3 counsellors per enquiry.

  • My network is full of brilliant therapists and I have access to therapists who specialise in couples work, child and adolescent therapy and family therapy, as well as individual therapy. So we have all bases covered here!

  • No. Counselling Connect is merely a means to connect clients to therapists based on suitability.

    Appointment times and logistics will be for you to navigate with the therapists, once their details have been passed over - if you choose to work with them.

  • Unfortunately this is not a suitable service for anyone experiencing a mental health crisis.

  • There is no obligation to make contact or move forward with the therapists that are suggested. They are merely recommendations for you to consider.

    If you want additional recommendations, this would be an additional cost.

  • Counselling Connect has no responsibility for the work undertaken between client and therapist.

    Counselling Connect is a service that provides recommendations only.

  • No, this isn’t a directory. It is a tailored service based on individual needs.

    The only counsellor details you will receive are a bespoke, curated list from my personal network.

  • Counsellors will not receive a fee from Counselling Connect.

    If you decide to move forward with a therapist who has been recommended, the financial arrangement is between you - Counselling Connect is not involved.

  • Unfortunately you cannot use insurance to pay for any Counselling Connect services. Online payments are taken in full at the time of booking.

    Many therapists accept health insurance, so feel free to discuss this with them as part of your initial discussions.

  • We require at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel your Therapy Guidance Call.

    Calls cancelled with 48 hours or more notice will be fully refunded.*

    Calls cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged in full.

    *Refunds are issued minus standard payment processing fees.
